Park Community School Visit (2026)

This World Book Week I took a visit to Park Community School where exciting bookish events were happening all week long!

I was invited to perform songs from The Songs You’ve Never Heard during two separate lunch breaks at the adorable busker’s stage that had been set up in the canteen. (Complete with an armchair and a bookshelf!)

It was so lovely to share songs like And What? and One Day At A Time with all the students - many were singing and dancing along, and I got to speak to lots of them about their own singing and writing.

The school was so gorgeously decorated too - I got to see my book cover blown up on the wall which was so cool!

Thank you to Park Community’s librarian Ann-Marie for having me and for all your passion and enthusiasm for World Book Week - it was truly infectious! Look forward to hopefully coming back again next year. :)
